Click Backup / Restore button:

The backup process creates one compressed file with your data in it. Program files are not backed up. Options are available to include item images and transaction archives if you have them.

 

 

 

 

You should back up your data often. It is a very fast process and can prevent data loss, repair or re-entry. Many users back up at end of day, just prior to Reconciling Cash Trays and Posting Transactions to host accounting system.

 

 

 

Restore Tab

 

 

 

WARNING. Restore will overwrite the files currently in Acme unless you change the default Destination Path.
