By default this scanner sends all 12 digits of UPC-A and [Enter] after each scan. This typically works well.

 

It does not expand UPC-E by default, to enable that you need the full manual, not the Quick Guide that ships with the product. Search the programming guide for "Expand UPC-E" and be aware the  device has codes for enable programming, disable programming mode and save parameters.

 

 

Both the Quick Guide and the full version offer an option to put the scanner into presentation mode. In this mode the trigger has no effect. This feature may be called "Presentation" or "Auto Sense" depending on the version of the manual that you have.

 

At the time of this writing the appropriate pages to print in the full manual to cover the most programming are 12 (9), 13(10) and 27(24).
