This device can scan driver's license 2D barcode for age verification and customer addition, but only with Acme. It will probably fail in other programs, we had to code around a deficiency. Default settings are used. Acme Build must be build 1854 or higher.

 

When you scan the default settings bar code, the hand unit will NOT beep and its light will immediately go out. After a moment, the base will start blinking followed by beeps when finished.

 

Restore device to default settings.

 

 

After scanning above, wait for beeps before scanning any other codes.

 

 

This device cannot auto-switch between presentation (hands-free) and trigger mode. To manually switch between these modes scan the codes below.

 

First, ensure that your scanner firmware is HW1:VN=B2P3A1.0 or newer. To do this place your computer cursor into a text editor and scan the following code:

 

 

If your scanner does not have appropriate firmware as described above the following codes will not work. Please request support.
