Items can marked with Item Control of "Giveaway". These items will be added to transactions for $0.
$0 priced consigned inventory can be sold without granting the "Allow Sell $0 Item" privilege to the user.
There is a user privilege called Prevent Entry of 0.00 Prices On Line Items (Yes/No). If set to yes, the users cannot change an item's price to $0 during transaction entry.
