Click >Maintenance >Cash Tray Setup

 

As you add POS Terminals cash trays will be automatically created for you. Acme requires one Cash Tray per Point of Sale Terminal Code. The Cash Tray Code must equal the Point of Sale Terminal Code.

 

Cash Tray Code -Enter a code up to 10 characters long.

 

Description -Enter a description of the Cash Tray Code.

 

Cash Beginning Balance -Before you start using the tray, you can enter the Cash Tray Beginning Balance here.

 

If you have an open cash tray session, do not enter the beginning balance here. simply enter appropriate new starting balance during reconciliation. See Cash Tray Beginning Balance

 

 

Food Stamp Beginning Balance -Relates to legacy paper food stamps, works the same way as Cash Beginning Balance.
