The CL-Works Desktop software is used to manage scale items, PLU's and pricing.
Prior to using the software, most users need to set to set the scale(s) to accept network address via DHCP. This is typically a one time task done on installation day. Instructions for that can be found here:
In CL-Works Pro software ON TOP MENU tap >Config >Scale.
•To scan your network for scales tap the Scan Button.
•To test connectivity to any previously detected scale(s), place check-mark by the scale(s) you wish to test. Tap the Connect Test button.
If any scale fails to connect check that the scale is powered on, and that it’s network cable is still properly connected. It may help to power off the scale, unplug it from A/C outlet, then power it back up. Failing that re-check that the scale is configured for DHCP and has a valid network address, see Label Printing Deli Scales
PLU not Found (on deli scale)
See if you can edit the item on the scale. If that is possible it is likely the scale is not set to proper department. To check the department number type 1212 and tap the menu key. If that does not solve the issue try another way:
Press 1 on the keypad followed by the DEP.. key the scale will display ARE YOU SURE WANT TO CHANGE DEPARTMENT? (1+Y / 0= N)
Select 1 (yes). Then the selected department would be set.
