-Storage (customer buys back their own, viz Grain at a coop.)

-Resell (product can be sold to anyone)

 

Eligible for Loyalty Points Yes/No - This trumps the same setting at the item level.

 

Target Margin - Supply the default value used for new item setup within this Department. Used in reporting to make it easy to review items that have X deviation from target.

 

Sales Report Section. -Choose if you would like activity from this department shown in the Sales, Services, or Misc. section of the daily sales report.

 

Sequence number -Allowed users to affect the order that the departments will show up in each section of the Sales Report. With the addition of multilevel departments, this control was removed and the logic was replaced by alphanumeric sorting of the Department Descriptions.
