Click >Inventory >Departments >Dept Codes / Drill Down Levels
Departments are used on many reports like the Daily Sales Report and the Price Book where items are grouped by Departments.
Departments can carry Age Restrictions, Sale Time Restrictions and be part of Pricing Logic. They can also be used to designate Consignment Types on the General Settings tab.
Department Code -Enter in a unique code, up to 10 characters.
Description -Enter a description for this department.
