Shortcuts
Several shortcut switches are available for use with Acme Desktop application and Acme Data Pump. Some of these launch Acme and others perform database functions. Create or copy short cuts and add the switch commands to the "Target".
Dictate Database Path - run multiple copies of Acme (at different times) on one computer.
Note that most utilities use the path from the registry, so install using whatever path you want utilities to use and shortcut the other paths. If you need utilities in Central and Store, put the data on two different machines.
C:\acmepos\acmepos1.exe "DBPATH=\\TBW-LAN-POS05\AcmePOS\Data"
Dictate the POS Terminal Code. -This overrides the Computer Brand.
C:\acmepos\acmepos1.exe "postermcode=REG06"
Dictate Both
C:\acmepos\acmepos1.exe "DBPATH=\\TBW-LAN-POS05\AcmePOS\Data postermcode=01-REG10"
