To connect the multi-line customer display to the computer, please read the the instruction sheet that came with the display.

 

Most multi-line displays have a power button.

 

To configure the display to work with Acme click >Maintenance >POS Terminal Setup >Customer Facing Display

 

Customer display is output to “extended desktop”, built in display and monitor.

 

Us Device Manager to determine which monitor is integrated touch, and which is the customer display.

 

 

Then in >System > Display, ensure you are set to “Extend these displays” and that the integrated monitor is set to “main”. To determine which is the integrated monitor you need to click on “Advanced display” near the bottom of the system display screen.

 

Change the position of the monitors so that the main (integrated) monitor is on the left. This is necessary because we tell the second monitor to position itself to the right…

 

Restart the computer. Confirm the main monitor is on the left. If not, repeat above steps.

 

If ACDC Touch Studio (or other) touch screen software is not running in the task bar install it from drive D.

 

In the touch screen software find the “Multi-touch mapping” control and ensure the touch screen monitor is selected. If not, you will need to use “Setup” button and have someone present to select the touch screen via finger tap. Note it may be possible to work around having someone present by temporarily uninstalling second monitor in device manager.

 

Right Click Taskbar and tap Taskbar Settings. Scroll down to Taskbar behaviors and un-check "Show Taskbar on all Monitors".

 

For Rear 9.7 LCD SPT-7xxx the following usually works well, adjust to taste:
