Enable Driver's License Scanning (SWIPING) Y/N?
Scan barcode (or swipe magnetic stripe) on driver's license during ticket entry to create or look up customers.

Scanner Image Folder
Folder that your image scanner drops JPGs into.

TIPS: With HP Multifunction printer/scanners and probably most other brands as well, you can use the desktop software to dictate the dimensions of the scanned image. done once on the desktop, the setting seems to also be used for scans originating on the scanner. This may vary by device.

For driver's licenses use 3.5 x 3.5, in some states restricted licenses are printed in portrait instead of landscape.

Clerk uses “Get Customer Image” action key, selects image and Acme copies it to the “scanned image folder”. The copy will be renamed to match the current customer code. This function will not work if default customer is selected in ticket entry.

Clerk uses “Show Customer Image” action key to display the image associated with ticket entry current customer.

Image Subfolder

For scanners that need to drop JPEGs into a date based folder.  Currently the two choices are “None” and “YYYY_MM_DD”.  This list can be expanded to accommodate additional folder naming conventions as needed.
