Re-assign function keys used on the Ticket Entry and Tendered screens.
On Regular (non-touch) Screen Layouts
>Maintenance >Acme Setup Information >Function Key Mapping Tab
and
>Maintenance >Acme Setup Information >Tender Key Mapping Tab
Select the new function using the drop down list.

The second (lower) row of function keys require user to hold down shift while pressing function key.
If you wish to program a button in the lower row you should change the Shifted State control illustrated above from Normal to "Shifted".
Restore default function key assignments by clicking Edit and then the Defaults button.
On Touch Screen Layouts -Launch Touch Screen Ticket Entry. Your screen layout should look similar to the one shown below.
What if my Ticket Entry screen does not look like the touch screen example? Exit Ticket Entry and click >Maintenance POS Terminal Setup. Change the screen type to one that includes a "touch panel". Then re-enter Ticket Entry.
Right Click any Function Key pad and on the drop down menu, place a check mark (click on) Edit Button Properties. Click the pad whose color or function or color you wish to change. Follow the on screen prompts. To allow better control of how the text will look on a button; wherever an underscore character “_” is entered in a caption a line break is forced. When done, Right Click any Function key pad and un-check Edit Button Properties.
Any button can act as a speed key, perform an action or take you to another layer of buttons.
If you do not have a mouse and you need to RIGHT CLICK on most touch screens you simply press and hold.
