How does Acme...
Require date of birth -Each clerk should have their own user record that is used to track their DOB.
Assign Birthdays to Users: ->File >Administration> Edit User Accounts
When Customer DOB is required Acme will pop up a dialog asking the clerk to key in the birthday.
In the case of Customer DOB, entering 999999 will cause the date to be recorded as December 30, 1899. This is designed to be used in situations where the customer is evidently old enough and you do not want to bother with the actual DOB.
Alert Cashier -Alert Cashier points out the Minimum Date Of Birth required, or Sale Time Restrictions and allows cashier to make the sale.
Disable a Restriction. -Disable causes Ticket Entry to totally disregard the rule.
Define Departments in >Maintenance >Departments
Restrictions can be disabled temporarily via F11 Menu or other function key if user has appropriate privilege. See Managers Key
